22 REASONS TO LOVE RAINBOW!

Let me start this post with wishing someone special in my life, which is my Rainbow. Happy 22nd Birthday on 22nd of December!

I was so busy with assignments, tests, research and presentations; I am in my final semester what do I expected? As my pre-present for her birthday, I just made a long list of 22 reasons to love her.

1.       She’s so beautiful. YES SHE IS
She is a natural beauty and physically perfect. She has a very fair skin, great face complexion, high cheekbone, long wavy hair, thin lips, perfect teeth set and the part that I fell in love the hardest would be her eyes. She has this pair of round-eyes that actually smile whenever she’s smiling. With no make-up, she gets me melt. With a little make-up on, she gets the whole Atlantic melt.

2.       She’s got that bimbo personality.
Besides her beauty, she also has a personality of a bimbo. Just admit it, all bimbos are hot babes. Let me get this straight, she might looks like a bimbo but she is actually really smart. I somehow like her that way because she’s cute and funny with that personality. She is Anna Faris and Mila Kunis all combined.

3.       She has a great body
She always complained that she is too thin. I said ‘STFU bitch, you are angel sent from up above’. I don’t care being labeled insensitive towards her insecurity when it comes to her body because I think her small bone structure with less fat and flesh make her look very pretty in whatever clothes she’s wearing.

4.       She has a great sense of style
When it comes to styling, she believes that simplicity goes a long way. She always looked chic and classy even when she just put a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans. She never cared about brands, as long as they look good on her, she’ll just go with it.

5.       She’s a family-guy
She puts family first and everything second. That is a plus point, because I considered myself as a family-guy as well. Besides, her family is so good to me like, we are not close that much but it is enough to know that her family is having no problem with me dating her. Her family is calling me Sudirman, I don’t even know why.

6.       She has unknown alter egos
I don’t know but I tend to think that there are angel and devil live inside of her. When she’s all lovey-dovey, that means she is on Cassandra mode. But when she’s all hyped up with darkness, Charlie takes its part. Cassandra is a loving, compassionate and sympathetic creature, while Charlie is a brave, fearless and heroic mortal. To wrap it up, different situations lead to different alter egos.

7.       She’s a woman. WOMAN
She is a strong, independent and self-governing young lady. She always do something all by herself without a help from anyone. When she wanted something, she worked her ass off to get it even if asking from her daddy would be a lot easier.

8.       She smells really good
Something has to do with her genetic or body temperature, I guess. She has this one smell and it is a good smell. I don’t know how to put this into word. In short, when she’s wearing perfume, the scent lasted for all day. She is currently wearing, if I wasn’t mistaken this one perfume called DKNY MY NY and it suited her best!

9.       She never finished her food
This is a plus point for me actually. She never finished her food, so, I can finish hers.

10.    She’s so down-to-Earth
This point makes me so into her! She has rich parents, live in a big house and drive an expensive car but she never make a fuss about it. She never tells how awesome her life is, grew up in the Nashville, spent sterling in Westfield and had dim-sum in Hong Kong.

11.    She’s so fun to be with
She is funny as hell. She has done a lot of stupidest jokes ever and I actually found it very funny when I thought to myself. “Semalam you keluar dengan Tasha ke?” “Eh, Tasha mana?” “Tashape shape….” It never gets old. We could laugh all day to the lamest jokes in the universe.

12.    She’s so likable
I think she is likable by nature. I’m pretty sure she has zero hater. It seems that all of people in her life like her for who she is.

13.    She’s weird
Yes, she is. She is, in fact, one of the weirdest people I ever met. When it comes to food, the only thing she can digest is chicken; she refused to eat meat, fish, egg, all types of seafood and vegetables. When she’s eating something, she will be like a little girl or she’s automatically 4 years old. I still remember the second date we had, we went to Kenny Rogers. She ate the chicken until it looked like rendang ok. Hahahahaha!

14.    She’s very supportive; you will go “Awww…”
With no doubt, she is one of the most kind-hearted people I have encountered in life. She can be your strongest supporter, best listener and a shoulder, of course for you to cry on. She always knows what to do and what to say.

15.    She hated no one
Trust me, throughout these three years of knowing her, I never heard she said how much she hated anyone. I wonder if she’s really kind or she just doesn't give a fuck about others. But it seems like she doesn’t allow anyone to bother her mind, and that is the sexiest part.

16.    She’s a happy-go-lucky
I can’t recall the last time she cried about life. I wonder if life really treats her well or she’s so good at hiding her feelings. I tend to believe in both. However, most of the times, she is very happy with her life. She is transmitting tons of positive vibes to her surroundings with her attitude.

17.    She likes everything I gave her
Even if my presents were not much, the appreciation token that she gave makes me feel like I just bought a beach house. In Ibiza. With a yacht. She appreciated every single present that I gave her. She fully-utilized all of them like she wore the perfume until the last drop, she used the handbag until the bag looks like roti canai, and the wallet until it went missing. Let see if the ring and the watch last long like other presents.

18.    She’s so good with surprises
Through all these years, she proved that she is really good in making surprises, especially for me! I can’t get over those iPhone 4 Pokeball casing, Bulbasaur plush toys, Megazord action figures, Darthvader Transformer, Darthvader helmet and Darthvader & Anakin action figures. Besides, she also surprised me with Moschino Forever Sailing and a Fossil watch. Not forget to mention, the Star Wars, Pokemon and Adventure Times cupcakes that she baked for my birthday.

19.    She’s good with babies
I never really liked babies and kids because they are annoying. However, she changed my life when she introduced me to her nephew, who is a baby named Furqan Rayyan or Uqon. Uqon loves her so much, who doesn’t? I WANT A BABY THAT LOOKS LIKE HIM!

20.    She helps me. A LOT
Even if I lost any battle in life, I believe I just won the war since she came to my life.

21.    She sees a hero in me
“I want you!” That is her only answer when I felt insecure towards myself. I mean, take a look, a girl like her would easily get whoever she wanted, tall, handsome, filthy rich, soccer player, who drives an Impreza and have a life insurance. But still, she chooses me, a short guy, financially unstable, a daydreamer who drives a Kelisa and got zero savings in account. She even added, “Let’s build an empire someday!” I bet she didn’t know how much that line affected me. Sometimes, you need nothing but someone to believe in you.

22.    She’s all I ever wanted in life
All I ever wanted in life is a beautiful girl with a big heart come to me and tell me bedtime stories every single night. But my life is better than my dream for now. Allah gave me more than what I asked. She showered me with never-ending enjoyment and non-stop happiness. I couldn’t be any more grateful for having her. I was never really into anyone this hard. She gave me feelings people write novel about.

POST FOR SALMON LOVERS!

I love salmon. I really really really love salmon. I'm talking about the raw one. I just love that weird slimy taste melt inside my mouth. It is the bestest feeling ever! Can we like, recommending places where they serve the best raw salmon?

Salmon Lover
This is not a typical cheap sushi. I don't know, but Aeon is making a very tasteful sushi actually. It is a riceball coated with salmon slice and the mayonaise on the top is just like cherry on a cake. If I wasn't mistaken, it is RM11.90. I usually bought them after 9pm, 30% less so I can get two or three of them!

Salmon Rice (wtf Idk what is called in Japs)
If eating salmon slices don't get you full, you can try this salmon rice at Sushi Tei. It is a bowl of rice with salmon slices on the top. Besides, it also comes with little salmon eggs that will pop out inside your mouth. It comes with two sizes, small (RM12.90) and large (RM18.90). It is my favorite dish whenever I went to have sushi.

Salmon Set (wtf I still can't remember the name in Japanese)
I know Sushi King is a little overrated but how can you say no to this dish? This is like my everything at the moment. It is only RM19.90. It is a set actually, completed with a bowl of rice, miso soup, soy sauce, deep fried sweet potato, eggplant, tempura prawn and of course very fat salmon slices!

Smoked Salmon Slices
Or when you feel like you don't want to have salmon but you kinda want to, this is the perfect choise. It is a smoked salmon slices with tiny drops of lemon juice. One of the most delicious food I ever had. However, the portion is just too small for me. Yes, it is an add-on, what do I expect duh. Oh, it is RM11.90 at Jibby & Co.

Those who haven't tried, go try once. It is never too late to try anything. You only live once, remember? And those who have tried but still can't digest it, screw you!

RESTAURANT REVIEW : CAPRICIOSA

I have been here twice already. Both on Ramadhan but different years. Do you know Capriciosa? For those who do not know, Capriciosa is an Italian restaurant that is situated in the ground floor of Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. If I wasn't mistaken, the restaurant replaced Chilli's area that stop operated past few years ago.

Capriciosa is just a normal city restaurant. I'm refering to the crowded situation inside Pavilion where it is not suitable for you who are hoping for a quiet candle-light dinner on the lakeside kind of restaurant. I'm talking about the food here!

Well as you can see from their menu, it is all about Italian food. Sigh. It is an Italian restaurant obviously.

This is my second time here and this is my second time ordering the same pizza. I can't recall the name but it is pizza that is made up from four different kinds of cheese! For a cheese-maniac like me, this is a masterpiece. Hihihi, I know it looks like Roti Nan, but trust me it tastes better than it looks!

It is a dinner for two. To cut off the budget, we had a set for two people. Again, I can't recall the name but there are Garlic Spaghetti, Blackpapper Chicken Breast, Roasted Salmon, Grilled Meatball with some fruits and vegetables. They are so delicious!

She is so cute!

All in all, it is a very good restaurant. Highly recommended for those who are so into pizzas or Italian food. I'm starting to post more stuff like this on my blog.

TRIP TO BALI,INDONESIA

Hi.

It was all unplanned, since my family wanted to go to Jakarta-Bandung and I was the only one who wanted Bali. But still, Bali won! Damn, my persuasive skill is undisputed!

We purchased the tickets about two weeks before departure at RM450/person by Air Asia. It took us three hours up in the air from KLIA2 to Denpasar, Bali. We arrived midnight, at about 12am. Then, the supir named Iwan waited for us with 'Muhammad Khalis' banner. I did some research about the well-known Muslim supir which is Pak Isme and the reviews were mostly positive. Supir is basically a driver in Indonesian, but it is more to driver + tourist guide here.

Since we haven't ate anything yet, Iwan took us all to.. I can't recall the name, I didn't snap picture as well but it is a Padang restaurant situated near the Ngurah Rai International Airport. The food was great, it costed us about IDR 350 000 or RM100 for four person. Iwan told us it is fucking hard to find food with no babi here in Bali. For your information, we didn't book any hotel. So, we just walked in through every hotel in Kuta Beach and unfortunately most hotels here were fully booked.

After six or seven hotels, we finally checked in Sayang Maha Martha Hotel at 2am. I am big fan of Balinese architecture. This hotel suited my interest the best.

The hotel is quite satisfying with IDR 340 000 or RM120 per night. Everything is perfectly fine, plasma tv, bathtub, air-conditioner, free breakfast but still, got no WiFi though.

Besides, the hotel also provides motorcycle to rent for the guests. Based on my observations, most tourists here, especially Australian prefer to use motorcycle as their main transportation.

I didn't know why I'm capturing this actually. Maybe because it is my first Bali swimming pool?

This is my typical Bali pose. Ughh look at my face, minta penyepak betul.

DAY 1
Iwan picked us up at 12pm. Quite late actually, because all of us woke up late. First, we went to shop to buy some junk food and cigarettes. Got so many 7-Eleven-alike shops here.

No Winston Light there, so I bought myself a Dunhill Light and Lucky Strike. A pack of Dunhill only costed me about IDR 18 000 which equals to RM6.

Then, we were starving. So, Iwan took us to a restaurant that served Malang (province in Java) food. The food was amazing! We ordered Ketam Kecap, Ikan Garumi Bakar, Isi Ikan Goreng with four glasses of fruit juice. It costed us IDR 505 000, equals to RM130.

This is Es Buah (Ais Buah). Just like a tropical fruit punch with small slices of mango, strawberry, grape, peach and watermelon with milk.

After finished having lunch, we went to the place that I usually saw in my dream, Uluwatu at 5pm. Pura Luhur Uluwatu or Water Temle is one of the most important and sacred temple for Balinese. Besides, it is also the most visited place in Indonesia. For your information, the timezone in Bali is the same with Malaysia, but it gets dark by 1 hour earlir here.

Therefore, it is normal to rush for sunset viewing as early as 4 or 5pm here in Bali. It took us at least 40 minutes to arrive at Uluwatu from Kuta. We supposed to visit Garuda Wisnu Kencana but it is too late that day, damn damn damn.

In the name of Allah, this place is beyond beautiful. I usually reblog this place only on Tumblr but now, it is in front of my nose! One of the most breath-taking places have I ever been to. It's a big loss for those who came to Bali but never visited Uluwatu.

Without any filter, the sky is still effortlessly beautiful. Damn, you can't get it anywhere but here in Uluwatu! Perfection.

After that, we went to see Kecak Dance performed by the local performing art clubs.

With an admission fee of IDR 100 000 or RM30, you can experienced cultural performance of traditional Balinese myths that lasted about 1 hour.

It's getting late. It's time for us to check in another hotel. As usual, we didn't book any hotel and we just walked in each and every single hotel on the street in Kuta and Legian.

Luckily, we found Jesen's Inn at Legian for only IDR 300 000/night. That would be RM100. If you travel to Bali for only 4-5 days, it's recommended to stay in a low-budget hotel. Because your supir will fetch you in the morning and send you back to the hotel at midnight. You will only be at your hotel for about 5-6 hours a day, seriously.

In terms of cultural architecture, the hotel is not so Balinese compared to the first one I checked in. However, it is situated at the central Legian. It is so lively here since you can hear all the people partying on the street. Not forget to mention, Kuta and Legian both have an outstanding night-life since all the bestest nightclubs in Bali located here.

Around 10pm, we went to have dinner at Jimbaran beach. Before we reached the restaurant, I did a little research from the blogs of people who have been there before. Most of them came up with negative reviews - expensive, awful, pricey, boring. I'm afraid I have to disagree with all of them. The place was magnificent! Good people, good service and good food.

There are probably hundreds of seafood restaurants along the beach and I might be the lucky one who hit the bestest among the all.  Everything seemed so beautiful here, the blowing wind from the sea, the sound of the wave hitting the shore and the live bands who played local songs.

Just like typical seafood restaurants in our country, we have to select all kinds of seafood first.

We ordered Ikan Bawal Bakar, Udang Galah Bakar and Cumi-Cumi Bakar with four glasses of fruit juices and additional melons as deserts. It costed us IDR 900 000 for all these, quite expensive but it is all worthit.

After that, we went back to Legian streets. We were doing some shopping.
Tips to shop at Kuta or Legian : Always bargain for half price at the first place. Then, if you're still not satisfied, just walk out from the shop because they will go after you and ask "Ok, berapa bapak mau?" then you just state the price you're willing to pay.

DAY 2
My allergy is killing me this morning. Maybe because of the seafood last night. Fuck it, nothing stops me from exploring Bali! Today, our first destination is Ubud. Iwan picked us up at 11am. It took us 1 hour to reached Ubud from Legian.

I don't know what this is called but it can be found everywhere here in the island, Most buildings like houses, shops, clubs, malls, offices, temples have this in the front of the area.

On our way to Ubud, we passed through a statue of a baby called Patung Bayi Sakah. Iwan told us a story behind it like, it was creepy though. Once upon a time, a baby was dead when he was born. At midnight, the villagers claimed to witness a baby crawling and crying in the streets. Things happened every single midnight until they built this statue for the baby. Finally, the baby is no longer crying.

Next, we went to a place called Tegallalang. Have you ever seen rice terrace? The paddy field here is different than the one we have in Kedah, Malaysia. You want to know why? This is why.

The paddy field here looked like staircases. It's very unique. Locals prefer to plant it this way because.. I forgot why already. Nevermind, it is still beautiful.

Went to some shops on the street, they have this penis everwhere in the island!

There is a lot of shops that sell Hindu and Buddha sculptures with a very low price.

Some of them were mysteriously attractive.

From Tegallalang, we went to Kintamani. It took us 1 hour to reach the top of the hill. The sunlight is kinda burning, but the temperature is amazingly cold.

We went to a restaurant there called Grand Puncak Sari Restaurant. Based on what I read on some Malaysian blogs, there are so many negative reviews about this restaurant. To me, it is all reasonable.

Excuse me, you pay IDR 100 000/person, or RM30 for a buffet meal in a restaurant that is situated at a mountain hill, of course the price is a little bit higher. The food is kinda okay, worth my RM30.

This is my favorite dish in Bali. It is just a simple combination of sticky rice, mango slices, brown sugar and coconut milk.

This is my youngest sister who is 15. So many people mistakenly thought that she is my wife here. What the fuck?

When we finished having lunch, there were a bunch of woman who waited for us in front of the restaurants. They were trying (or begging) to sell us some cheap souvenirs like bracelets, fridge magnets, key chains and t-shirts. It was funny because they followed us everywhere.

Some of them followed us until we got into the car. I felt so pity for them, like they don't even look healthy seriously. These are certain things that you can't see in Malaysia. Finally, my sister bought a pack of bracelets for IDR 50 000.

Not far from the restaurant, there was a hill view park with an admission of IDR20 000/person or RM6. The view is breath-taking. From the top of Kintamani, you can see the Mount Batur, which is a volcano last erupted on 2000.

I heard volcano is also a major part in Balinese culture. Some said that Balinese sleep with a head directed to the volcano.

Later that night, we went back to Legian. We went to a place called Krisna, a place which sells everything souvenirs. This is the place where I bought souvenirs for all my friends. It has fixed price, so you can't bargain a shit here. The price ranged from IDR 1000 to IDR 1000 000.

DAY 3

As usual, I woke up late again. probably because I really had a good sleep in Bali. There's nothing feels as good as waking up, realizing you're on a vacation and wondering what other amazing things ahead you on the day.

So, today we went to Tabanan. Before arrived there, Iwan took us to Tegal Sari Coffee Shop. He asked us to try one of the most expensive coffee in the world, Kopi Luwak.

This is the civet or fox that is responsible for the existence of Kopi Luwak. The coffee beans were freshly collected from its poops. I know, its disgusting.

However, the beans were cleaned up and mixed up with herbs and spices to make it more aromatic.

This is Kopi Luwak. It is a tester, which you still have to pay for IDR 50 000, or RM15. I'm not into coffee that much since I have stop with caffeine due to eczema two months ago. So, I really don't know how it feels like to taste the highly-anticipated most expensive coffee in the world.

We tried a lot of tea, for free. It came in so many different flavors like cocoa, coffee, ginger, saffron, lemon grass, mocha and mangosteen skin.

Shortly after that, we went to Tabanan. This is where another important temple of Balinese located, which is Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. It is situated beneath the lake. It's weird how a lake can appear in front of your eyes after you went up to the hill for hours and hours. I thought lake can only be found in flat-surfaced land?

Tabanan is just as cold as Kintamani. WIth an admission of IDR 30 000/person or RM15, you can enjoy one of the top vacation spots in Bali.

I usually reblogged this temple on my Tumblr. But now, it is in front of my fucking nose.

The bestfriend of the family, which is my father and my sister went to take pictures of each other in front of a temple.

Ulun Danu Temple and  IDR 50 000 note.

We went straight to the most iconic beach ever in Bali, Tanah Lot. This is what I am here for! The sunset here is just beautiful.

The wave is just so big and fucking strong. I never really a big fan of beach, but this is the only exception. It is so tranquilizing here, to be honest.

Everytime I was thinking about Bali, the image of Tanah Lot always popped out in my head. Of course, how can you forget something so beautiful?

This is my supir, Iwan. Frankly speaking, he is the most soft-spoken and polite man have I ever met in my life. We had so much fun using his service like, Bali would be incomplete puzzle pieces without him. Thank you so much, Iwan.

As you can read from the board, Billabong is having a sale. They were right, all times were discounted as high as 90%. I was so lucky, everything flows perfectly on that day.

Premium outlets are like mushrooms there in Bali. No wonder people claimed it as surfer's paradise. All surfing-based clothing like Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy, Ripcurl, Volcom and DC can easily be found anywhere with low prices.

Last picture would be the famous Babi Guling. Excuse me, Babi Guling is more famous than any other shit in Bali.

Overall, trip to Bali is such an amazing experience. A very great place in line with great cultures and traditions. Super-friendly people that provide good hospitality. Mouth-watering food that satisfies my tummy. I'm preparing myself for a major heartbreak because I know I'm going to miss you when I reached home. Whenever I played The Everly Brothers - All I Have To Do Is Dream, I will automatically thinking of you because that is what brought me to Bali. You guy should put Bali in your list now! A very tremendous journey you will had, trust me!.
